On the yoga deck (weather permitting) or indoors
Join us to move with the rhythm of the moon in a nourishing Lunar Flow inspired by Moon Salutations, followed by an extended sound bath.
This gentle, cooling practice helps wake up the body and calm the mind. It honors the divine feminine, supports emotional balance, and encourages inward reflection. Moon Salutations are slow and intuitive, inviting softness, presence, and steady energy flow.
The flow features grounding and heart-opening poses like Mountain Pose, Half Moon, Lunar Forward Fold, and Nectar Of Moon Pose I (Somachandrasana I), which is part of Chandra Namaskar Variation C. You'll also practice a flowing half squat, Down Dog, three-legged dog, and a standing heart-opening pose. On the floor, we include seated forward fold, reclined butterfly, gentle twists, and Sleeping Bug pose to help you prepare for deep rest.
To honor International Mother Language Day, we will explore the most universal language: awareness and compassion. With breath and a short, loving-awareness meditation, we will cultivate Prema, a spacious, heart-centered presence that goes beyond words.
We will end with a deeply immersive sound bath featuring crystal bowls, a gong, chimes, a wave drum, and other instruments. This helps the nervous system relax and allows your body to fully absorb the experience.
